The workshops were very useful, and I received great support from UpSkill's Tutors and Assessors. I was able to transfer my learning into the workplace, and the knowledge that I gained assisted in my career development. This is an awesome free course, available while you are working full time. Amcor Kiwi Packaging One of the key points for me has been learning how to recognize learning styles and how to adapt my teaching style to enable us to get the best result from a training session. I have always been a great believer in building on strengths as a motivator, as this aids confidence growth which in turn means trainees are more open and willing to work on their areas for improvement. This course has given me a deeper understanding of the learning process and I recognise that if I can make the learning experience enjoyable or less intimidating we are going to get better outcomes. I found the cultural awareness module quite challenging as we don't have any cultural issues in the Hastings Site, it did give me an opportunity to gain more knowledge and understanding of how this can be an issue in some situations and what I techniques I could employ if I was faced with it in the future. ⇒ Click here for More Testimonials
